Adi Parashakti (“Adi”)
Adi Parashakti is also referred to as Mahadevi, Devi, Shakti and Adi-Shakti.
Adi is both unmanifest (the unified field), static-shakti, divine masculine and manifest, dynamic Brahman, the divine feminine.
As such, Adi is more abstract — yet She presents to us as Supreme Goddess and is highly accessible to Her devotees.
Manidvipa is Her eternal supreme abode along with the Mahavidyas (Kali, Tara, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshvari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi, Kamalatmika).
Adi Parashakti is Brahman (totality; ultimate reality). Monotheism, polytheism, henotheism and monism are all theistically appropriate.
Adi is beyond words. She will hold your hand as you cross the Ocean of Maya to attain spiritual enlightenment. She wants this relationship with you.
Here is a list of Her main attributes:
Anchors the World (jagatikanda)
One Who Surpasses the Universe (vishvadhika)
One Who Has No Match (nirupama)
Dominant Governor (parameshwari)
Encompasses Everything (vyapini)
Immeasurable (aprameya)
Creator of Many Universes (anekakotibrahmadajanani)
She Whose Garba or Womb Subsumes the Universe (vishvagarbha)
Helps All (sarvadhara)
Being Everywhere at the Same Time (sarvaga)
One Who Functions for the Whole Universe (vishavdaharini)
